This may very well be the highest definition time lapse ever shot, weighing in at 10328 x 7770 pixels. The amazing footage was shot by Joe Capra using a PhaseOne IQ180 camera, each shot a culmination of hundreds of still images all an enormous 80 megapixels.
The huge resolution allows for 8-10, 1920 x 1080 shots to be pulled from a single shot with the super-camera, as the video details the intricate landscape of Rio De Janeiro from breath taking perspectives.
There isn’t much more to say. Just watch and be mesmerised by this awesome footage.
