Nicole’s family home was purchased from her father two years ago, in a mid-renovation state with some TLC-required. The project aims to complete the remaining renovations on Nicole’s family home and provide her with a place to recuperate from her treatment in comfort. An explosion of community support has since lifted this campaign up, with the Home Of Hope Facebook and My Cause pages garnering hundreds of responses.

With nearly five thousand dollars raised, a trivia night planned for later January and a working bee at Nicole’s home on the 22nd – 23rd November with builders, tilers, plumbers and electricians all doing their bit to get the house ready.

Alongside all that, Tile Power Wollongong, Corrimal Lounges, Apollo Blinds, Mitre 10 Albion Park, Taubman’s Paints, Wonson Timbers and Coast Distributors have all huddled together to provide the necessary materials to make a home. The amazing community outreach has been facilitated by i98 and Win News whom have been behind the campaign from the get go.

We have a selection of before images of this amazing community effort, and will be covering the complete renovation with an interview to come. We are wishing all the best to Nicole and her family over the coming days and weeks.
