This Dutch log cabin will make you wish you were a lumberjack

This 1950s holiday home in the Netherlands just received a face lift, whilst complying to height and roof slope restrictions.

The little log cabin design by architect Tjeerd Bloothoofd feels like it is amongst the tree tops as it is totally surrounded by trees. The large sloped window that lays over the main bed would be an incredibly relaxing place to escape for a few days at a time.

The cabin is self-sustainable and completely built from timber.
