Remember the mood rings everyone used to wear? Sometimes they would change colour in supposed representation of your current mood. The Dynamic Sanctuary is like a really big one of those. The installment was created by The Principles and commissioned by Ford to coincide with the release of their Edge model and NYCxDESIGN conference.
Connected via the interior mood of the soon to be released automobile, the Dynamic Sanctuary is an interactive architectural concept that is responsive to the mood of it’s tenant. A simple pulse reader connects to their finger and as their heart rate relaxes they are bathed with a corresponding light show, that is dictated by their slowing heart beat.
